WLND - good move?

Was it really a good move to have hot AC on 98.1 in Chattanooga? I don't think that market has ever had a hot AC before or has it? The only relevant station was that Max 97.3 - all 80s.
 
They had to do something. WLND was cutting into US101’s audience instead of protecting it from 107.9. From the cluster’s view they really do not care what happens to WLND as long as it does not hurt WUSY and has a positive cash flow. It will probably be piggybacked or thrown in with another cluster station’s local rates.
