WLNE Channel 6 sale

Does anyone have any updated information regarding the sale of New Bedford's WLNE-6 from Freedom Communications to Global Broadcasting Southern New England?

Also, does anyone know if (when the transition to digital is complete) WLNE plans to abandon VHF Channel 6, and remain on its DTV home, UHF Channel 49?

WLNE elected to turn off VHF Channel 6 at the analog sunset (scheduled on 2/17/09 at midnight), and will be only operating on Channel 49 (DTV). I'm sure that they will still be branded "ABC6", thanks to DTV Mapping requirements. I'm finding very few stations actually display their actual DTV channels. However, WMFP/62 in Boston is ID'ing their DTV as Channel 18, as well as their analog channel as well.
