WLNE Technical Problems?

I'm watching "World News" right now, and every so often, the screen freezes up and flickers, and I get this message:
Video Alarm Detected Service Id 1 (11656)
It is accompanied by a black background, and it usually goes away after about 30 seconds though.

I'm not sure if this is WLNE or if it is the ABC network feed however. But, I'm sure that its not my TV, because I'm watching over the ari.

Thats an OSD (on screen display) from a sat receiver. Probably a bad storm somewhere in the area at the time.

That must be it, NYC was getting hit by some pretty severe thunderstorms around the time that WNT aired.

Its much rarer, but rain fades can happen on the uplink too. Usually the teleport is on top of it and increases power, but sometimes they can max out. Happened to us at Group W a number of times.
