Well, you have to give WLNE and WorldNow points for effort. Still, it's not as good-looking as the sites for WPRI and the other LIN stations, or the sites recently (re-)launched by Broadcast Interactive [such as KOMO and KING] and Internet Broadcasting [such as WFTV, KXLY, KPTV, and KSAT].
I still don't know what was wrong with the old site. It was pleasant to look at and I liked the format. It matched the colors of their studio too. I'm sad to see the site change.
At first glance, it looked like the URL was missing a "w" - still works, though...
The ticker on the top of the website is neat - though I'll reserve that accolade until they figure out how to update it so that folks like me looking at it on a Friday morning won't be reading previews for Thursday's 11 PM news and ABC programs like "Private Practice."
