WLNG President Ann Buckhout passes

From WLNG's Facebook page. It’s with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of WLNG’s Ann Buckhout. In the 32 years she was with the radio station she became our Secretary-Treasurer then the President of our parent company Main Street Broadcasting following Paul Sidney’s passing in 2009. Another victim of the appalling disease of cancer, she’ll be very much missed on the East End, few anywhere as delightful, caring and civic as was our Ann Buckhout.

Visitations at Yardley-Pino Funeral Home tomorrow Tuesday May 24 at 94 Pantigo Rd East Hampton from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

The Funeral will be at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at 18 James Lane in East Hampton on Wednesday May 25 3pm.

A Festive gathering for all at Ann’s Great Farm House “Hardscrabble” at the corner of Route 114 and Stephen Hands Path, East Hampton follows.

Memorial Donations to Toys For Tots c/o Kiwanis Club, PO Box 1902, East Hampton or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
