WLNG Sag Harbor gets the LED out

Yikes!! It is Thursday afternoon and I just heard Rusty" Potz play" Whole Lotta Love". I love LNG. One night some time backwhen I was on the air there I received a call on the station staff line. It was the late GREAT Paul Sidney on the other end. Paul was calling to give me a verbal spanking for playing "Whole Lotta Love". It was 10 o'clock on a Saturday night. Ah, the march of time

Bwahahaha! I have heard Brian Bannon play things in midday that surely make little old ladies heads explode in Mattituck. Hey, when ya got 10,000 golden oldies to choose from...

Looking at the station photos in the control room above the console are large dials on the wall. Clocks, weather instruments, cant tell in the photo. Does anyone know. Thanks.

They are the old tide clocks for Montauk Point, Plum Gut, 3 Mile Harbor, Sag Harbor and Shinnecock Inlet (which is missing).

I did play Good Vibration by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch yesterday midday. :)

I sure do miss wlng. I listen alot online. The dynamic Chuck Mackin is back (I think that he was the fella in the Chelsea Handler sex tape)
Rusty Potz is still cool and Gary is the only guy who can handle the very intense weekday morning spotload and still keep his cool.
Since my high school daze I have never heard him flub. I would love to sneak back into Sag Harbor one weekend and do a night shift

I would then have to get out of town FAST>>>>>>>>I need to hear Kieth sing "before they make me run"
