Something about them sound even better since Entercom got their hands on them....however are they a pure Hot AC station or an AC?

However I heard them play Kendrick Lamar and Weeknd and thougth that was maybe crossing into the Top 40 line of things...

I thought they were Hot AC but people here claim they're AC. The ratings web site has corrected a lot of formats, but some are still wrong. WKQC is AC and WLNK Hot AC according to them. I haven't heard WLNK but WKQC is pretty soft with a lot of older songs compared to how a lot of ACs these days sound.
 
Seems like Lake and K change depending on the way the wind blows. They aren't very consistent. I'm too old for most of what they play.
