Butters, bud...
chill. the edits are done as a matter of course by the r-i-dot-com moderators to keep things family friendly around here.
many times (see the boston board, as an example), the children/family members of radio people swing by to see what's up and to say hey on behalf their mom or dad or whomever.
and what was allegedly said on the air, according the story, is quite actionable to the tune of a large number with a comma. the word that begins with f and ends with ck and isn't firetruck is still a big no-no, unless you're on cable (tv). keep in mind that there are moves afoot to remove the sanctity of the "anything goes" lexicon on satellite radio.
George Carlin's 7-Dirty-Words are not all entirely applicable anymore, but a lot of them are.
The radio axiom has always been: when in doubt, leave it out. you'll never get in trouble for what you DON'T say on the air. (*i will qualify that as we've all worked for managers who find ways to take you task, regardless)
