WLOK's Joan Golden Passes

I just read that Joan Golden, "The Golden Girl" of WLOK, passed away July 4th. Most here should know that Ms. Golden was a fixture at that station, and developed quite a name among her audience.

I am sure we all wish Ms. Golden's family, and her extended family at WLOK the best.

I am very sorry to hear that. I used to work with Joan on the morning show as traffic reporter at WLOK. She was a very nice lady indeed.
