The Buncombe Co. Sheriff's office is investigating a shooting that killed an Arden man.
Tim Fry, 51, was a longtime employee of WLOS-TV and our parent company Sinclair Broadcast Group, working most recently as a regional sales manager.
“You spend so much time with the people that you work with that they kind of become a second family to you and we're all reeling,” said Daniel Johnson, a friend and co-worker. "We all knew Tim for years and years and years and we loved him. We feel like we lost a brother."
Robin Richardson, 47, has been charged with first degree murder.
She is in the Buncombe County Detention Facility with no bond.
