WLOS-TV Translator Issue

Just get the dish. Even the most dilapidated shacks and trailers I've ever seen had a freakin' DirecTV or Dish Network dish attached to it. So, this argument that many people can't afford one is weak. If ya want one bad enough, you'll get one.

Seems to me like you'd make an excellent DirecTV or Dish Network dealer
in Jackson County. From what you say, you'd make a killing...

What's the subscription, $30-something a month? $5 more for locals? That's $400-something a year, not negligible.

In some areas, cable systems are fed via translator.

If you're far enough in the hollow that you don't have a clear view to the south (admittedly this is relatively few people - but a lot more likely around there than in, say, Kansas) the dish isn't going to work very well...
