Was convinced evening of 7 and morning of the 8th of September that station changed formats. Did some disgruntled soul play music out of character for format? Contacted local radio columnist, by later in the day Sept 8th song mix returned to normal. Station mgr said no changed, but Shannon on extended vacation.
 
What songs were so out of the normal?

Please mention which songs seemed outside the "lines".
I'm really wondering. I wasn't listening at the time you mention.

Allen Parsons Project song & songs I'd classify as rhythimic soul, can't give titles or artists, sorry; glad it's back to normal
 
That seems strange. But I also wasn't listening at the time.
