Awwwwww... I was in town this week... and much to my chagrin, WLS is no longer broadcasting in stereo... on top of that their airchain is no longer the huge, booming extravaganza I remember.

Guess it's time to buy an IBOC radio.

Speaking of IBOC, the analog audio on WGN, WSCR, and WBBM is wretched with IBOC on.

I've heard no difference with WGN and I've listened to several Cubs games this year. Same with WBBM during the Bears season. Of course, WBBM always sounded bad on my radios, so it's not that big of a change I guess.

But you should hear them in HD! Especially WGN. One of the best sounding AM HD stations. And yes they are in stereo, as the commercials come through in stereo.
