WLS now in HD Radio? Ewwwwwww!!!! :p
The bumper music will sound better now ;D

Could someone please verify this?
The "hash" seems stronger on 880 than 900.

Thanks!

I betcha, once the Auto Show and the Consumer Electronics show are over...both stations will shut down their HD. Back in the days of AM Stereo ( circa 1980's) the AM stations would get a call from the AM Stereo group, who usually gave them the equipment for free, asking them to help promote the technology ...and turn on their stereo. The AM's would co-operate and once the shows were over they'd turn the stereo off. Been there...did that...

Both WLS & WMVP were transmitting HD Signals on Friday Afternoon 2/17/2007.

I just checked, and they're not. Might be my distance from the TX, because I'm able to get WBBM, WSCR, and WGN in HD.

Same here. WBBM, WSCR, WGN, WTMJ but no WMVP or WLS today. They were probably doing some testing or something.

WLS still runs stereo. I hear it in my '91 Jeep.

Besides WLS and WRDZ, the only other stereo station I have ever picked-up is WBAP/ Fort Worth.

The stereo sounds remarkably good!
