When did Commonwealth Broadcasting switch formats on their Lebanon entities? I noticed that WLSK-FM 100.9 switched from Classic Hits to Adult Hits "Mike FM" and WLBN-AM 1590 switched from Nostalgia to Oldies.
I forgot when Commonwealth did that, exactly...I think about like 4-6 months ago...also moved studios downtown from the decaying albeit charming original faciltiy on Radio Station Rd.
In my humble opinion, LSK is the best format of the Commonwealth stations. Fortunately for me, I almost never have any problem receiving them in E'town. Just last week we had a phone list here that labeled 1590 as "Music of Your Life".
Well she's since replaced the phonelist. I don't know what they label their format, but it is oldies now. And not just oldies from the 60's. The night before last I heard China Grove on AM! Now THAT experience in itself took me back a ways, listening to a good song on AM as it came and went in the evening hours, mentally 'coaxing' the song to come back as it was fading in and out. Man! Then it was followed by the Supremes ...I changed the channel.
