WLTE 95.5 Approved Today: Good night WMXP, WPLS, WWOK, WNGR & W239AW

Looking forward to Earth FM on 95.5 hopefully by this summer!

But I wonder how the station would identify as "103.3/95.5 Earth FM" or "95.5/103.3 Earth FM"

Moving 95.5 to a taller tower a few miles away from the current location means it should do as good as 95.9 or better off to the SW into GA !

With 95.5 moving closer to Greenville I would like to see Earth FM move 103.3 a bit closer to Spartanburg for a better signal in Gaffney and Union, right now its listenable but weak in those places....

Maybe the tower where Earth FM used to be (at 105.7) in NW Spartanburg home of WOLI-AM would be a great place to move 103.3 from out of the Spartanburg County Landfill in Wellford. Even in some parts of Spartanburg south and east - 103.3 struggles with their signal

Sidenote about WPLS, the Furman station; I was scanning the FM dial this morning as I was driving a borrowed car. It stopped on 95.9. I totally forgot that Furman had that station. I assumed it was a translator at first.

At about 8:35am, I heard a legal ID as some recorded Furman game was about to start on the air. I clearly heard "WFBC HD 3 Greenville." 😳

That's when I realized it was WPLS and that they were actually airing what was recorded off the air at Audacy's The Fan.
