WLTG 1430 AM PANAMA CITY

it is an equalized program circuit.....the old analog type....I have tried to convince John to get a new digital program circuit from Bell South/AT&T....they cost just a little bit more.....I use them on WDIZ and they run circles around the old analog loops.

Is the dial up link used also on WTOT 101.7 in Graceville/Marianna? It sounds like an 8 or 16k feed over a phone line and sounds horrible.

no idea about them....last I heard they were using a Harris CD Link which is a pretty good STL......but as they say, garbage in, garbage out......

With two FM Talkers, I don't see how they ever hope to compete with 1430.

Is CC ever going to go local on 94.5?

I'm aware this isn't relevant, but when will Clear Channel give 94.5 WFLA the capability to start streaming live on the internet?

The streaming equipment is there and working BUT the cost of streaming rights to the programs we are carrying make it prohibitive right now. We do stream "ask the master auto technician" on Saturday morning.....but after that show we have to disconnect the audio feed to the streaming computer.....there are stations in this market (not in my building) that stream everything regardless of whether they pay for the right to do for or not......that is all I will say about that...

that is a ridiculous charge cceng. WYOO has gotta the streaming rights to their shows. How do they get away with streaming the commercials like they do?
