WLTQ 730 sold

730 AM WLTQ is being sold for $525,000 from Indigo Radio to a Catholic radio group, Mediatrix, the same people that own WQIZ 810 and a station in the Upstate.

They are also upgrading their transmitter, from 1,000 to 5,000 watts. The station is off the air now, but the deal will close in a few weeks.

730 is silent again (wow)

i was wondering what was up channel surfing in the car last week and not hearing anything on 730

this is good news for Gospel 106.3 they will get their listeners back that had switched to JOY 730

there were 2 voices I heard on 730 that use to be on 106.3 i wonder if 106.3 is going to squeeze them back in
