Man...who took a whiz in your Corn Flakes this morning? I make a simple observation and once again, someone sees fit to take a whack at us. I can assure you that everyone at G101 is aware of the numbers and we also have our own opinions of what those numbers are worth (which I will not really get into here since I do not feel that I have the right to speak for others within the organization.) But I can tell you we have no plans on stepping away from the format, so that in itself should tell you something.

If you re-read my comment, you will note that I said I thought it was a very smart thing that Forever did by putting Lite on 99.5 although I did question the Smooth Jazz deal as have others on this forum seeing how the fomat was not much of a success last go-around.

Also, I asked a legitimate question...will the new 99.5 signal hit Altoona? If so, thats a doubly good thing for Forever as it gives them back what they took away in Altoona when Froggy was created. If anyone would care to answer my question, I'd apprecate it.

In the immortal words of Rodney King...why can't we all just get along :) Seriously...I know we all represent competitors behind the mic, but once the shift ends I bet we all have more in common than we may realize. If you've been reading my posts over time you probably noticed that my own posts have evolved and I very rarely take a slam at a person or station these days unless provoked (or its something so damn obvious you have to). I'd much rather engage in friendly chat about the biz.

99.5 doesn't hit Altoona. My reception of 98.7 and 97.1 in Altoona is better than 99.5.

I listen to 98.7, 97.1, and sometimes 99.5 on my way through Altoona to Hollidaysburg and my (non-radio) job.

99.5 is okay in the car on the north side of town (Juniata and such) but pretty much starts dying out at Broad Avenue; it's spotty from there. But at least Lite at 99.5 (sted 94.5) no longer has to deal with the Q94 stations on either side (94.3 and 94.7) of it.

It's just a shame they stayed with Bob and Sheri instead of turning the mornings back to music for a more consistent sound.

I know they inherited B&S from what was WPRR, but I'm hoping they'll find an out in that contract with Jeff-Pilot.
