According to AllAccess.com:
Despite denials today by CLEAR CHANNEL VP/AC Programming and AC WLTW (106.7 LITE-FM)/NEW YORK PD JIM RYAN, ALL ACCESS hears that a deal is thisclose to being announced that DELILAH will take over nights at WLTW.
Last week (NET NEWS 11/10), RYAN addressed the issue in an article and told THE DAILY NEWS that it's "a possibility" that syndicated host DELILAH will fill JJ KENNEDY's evening slot -- but that if she does, "It would be a custom show done entirely for NEW YORK. I would program the music."
I guess that Delilah will be syndicated to NYC, but in the Hudson Valley, WRNQ and WFKP had Delilah running on one of the "Lite-FM's" in the Hudson Valley market on both 92.1 and 99.3, but not on 98.5 which is the third "Lite-FM" without Delilah. The last time Delilah was heard was on WCTW formerly "The Cat" since it pulled the plug in 2001 or 2002. WHUD also pulled the plug on her show since late August or early September, but now Delilah is on WLTW and it's going to be on weeknights as well as Sunday nights, replacing the departing JJ Kennedy. Will see if Delilah does well in New York City. It's great to hear Delilah coming to New York for the first time.
