Who is to say that it "shouldn't sound like a Hot AC? Until the ratings prove otherwise, Lite is going to continue to sound pretty much as it sounds today. I would *not* mess with a winning formula and open the door for a competitor to come in and take away the listeners who obviously seem to like the current version of "Lite."
Based on your comments about CBS-FM as well, I suppose Lite FM should also consider bringing back some of the legendary but old WABC/WCBS-FM DJ's back on the air as well. That's brilliant, make your station sound old when it is the younger demos you are going after.
