WLTW surprised me today

I just heard for the first time, at least to my knowledge, Lite FM play The Dixie Chicks " Not ready to make nice."
Have any other NY area stations played this song?

You might like to know they've played it a few times this week, and just over ten times in total. They have 100% of the spins of 'Not Ready To Make Nice' in the market this week.

There are A LOT of stations just discovering this song this week! ;-)

I was willing to make a bet right after the Grammies that radio stations would begin picking up songs by the Dixie Chicks again. Guess it didn't take too long at all.

(Then again, the nearest C&W station to NYC is WWYZ in Waterbury, CT.)

Actually, WRWD 107.3 in Highland,NY is closest. In addition...it's not C & W (Western)..hasn't been since the 60's and 70's. It's "Country" as in our country (USA).

It is amazing how stations picked up the Chicks "all of a sudden" since they took Grammy's. I've also noticed this on Sirius New Country 60.

Sirius New Country (60) was playing "Not Ready to Make Nice" when it dropped almost a year ago. It dropped off the play list and is now back with all of the Grammy attention.
