I think he should! Then maybe he could give us another amusing YouTube video tour of the station ;Dgreg.hahn said:I think DJ Yung Steff should apply for a job.

This means that the WWSZ call letters could be put on 104.3 and be "The Sports Zone". Since New Albany Broadcasting owns 1600 (and 1570), I wonder if they are going to lease 104.3 ? Many questions to be answered!
Unless someone is giving up their musical format. Can you say "musical chairs"?radioville said:radiofan502 said:I just came across something interesting while looking at the Kentucky Radio Directory. 1600 in Eminence is now listed as WLUE AM. Huh? Ding ding ding! You may be on to something. Maybe David Smith and his crew are getting 104.3 and putting the Louie format on it and simulcast it on 1600? The sports URL's have to be a bluff because their are no available sports formats to choose from.
That's kind of what I thought because why would 1600 change from WTSZ to WLUE when all they have been doing is simulcasting WNDA 1570 ?radioville said:radiofan502 said:I just came across something interesting while looking at the Kentucky Radio Directory. 1600 in Eminence is now listed as WLUE AM. I look for "Louie" to be on 104.3 and 1600.
BTW, looking at WNDA 1570's website, I found out that they are now streaming. That's good news since you can't hear them after dark.
1570 dropped oldies on September 12th. They are now news/talk.greg.hahn said:radiofan502 said:That's kind of what I thought because why would 1600 change from WTSZ to WLUE when all they have been doing is simulcasting WNDA 1570 ?radioville said:radiofan502 said:I just came across something interesting while looking at the Kentucky Radio Directory. 1600 in Eminence is now listed as WLUE AM. That doesn't make any sense. But what DOES make sense is if Louie is on all three frequencies.
So the oldies are working for 1570/ 1600 with Rocky in the mornings? There is no way they drop 1600 from that combo to launch a totally new radio station.
But... add the FM on the northeast side, which happens to fill coverage holes from both AMs- and take the name Louie as a marketing gimmick. There is nothing that says this Louie will be ANYthing like the old Louie. (All the original article says is that they've registered call letters and websites.)
So it's Louie on all 3. Now - will it remain oldies? I'm betting it does.
Now, let's see.... what will they launch it with?
