I live in Seattle, and Louie is so much better than the JACK in Seattle!

Seattle's JACK seems to be doing really well. What's the difference you hear?
Why is one better than the other?

The variety on LOUIE just sounds better, the music flows better together.. JACK in Seattle bounces around too much... plus I like hearing a personality... if I wanted to listen to a bunch of tunes, I would just play CDs in the car!

I've mad a couple of trips up to Louisville the past few days
and I was impressed with 100.5...sorta like JACK with a
personality. Airstaff is upbeat...seem to be having fun...
and talking TO the listener. Factor in my CC bias, and I give it a "9"<P ID="signature">______________
but wait...there's more!</P>

Agreed. Ben on that Indy/Louisville/Nashville trail several times over the past few months and WLUE does sound fresher, more relatable. Their approach also sounds more sincere than the Jacks. Music isn't as helter-skelter, either. The Track (Indy) is too poppy and the imaging on the Jacks don't sound like they're freshened up very often.
