WLUV Revisited

Hey All,

I wanted to share with you some photos I took over the wekeend of WLUV's 46th anniversary celebration at Papa Joe's place.....there have been a few updates in the studio but for the most part not much has changed. This is about as down home as you can get.

I didn't take a pic of what the main office looked like, but if you can imagine piles of records, papers, and clutter all over the place, nothing is different at all.
He does have a bookkeeper (I believe her name was Vera dishing out the birthday cake) and a loyal listener gave him a dog about a month ago that was destined for the humane shelter - they were moving and didn't want to take it along(it's name is Louie)

You should be able to cut and paste this link...let me know if it dosen't cooperate.

I'm old fashioned enough that I would actually enjoy working at a station like this!

Great pictures; thanks for sharing. Funny, it reminds me exactly the condition of 105.5 WSTK in Woodstock, IL
when Joe owned it back in the late 60s/early 70s.
