OMG, 500W daytime 13W night on 1520?? I doubt the translator is worth $350K in that market, but the tower, assuming it's not a hollow center complete rust-sickle, together with the translator, might be worth it. The AM, though? Ugh.

Somehow I doubt this place was making much money, and i bet the land and building.. whatever theyre worth, come with this
The original owner of that station just died last year at 98. That frequency has a very interesting past.
Joe Salvi. He was the owner and operator of the station when I came to town in 1979. And he had been for a long time before that.
He also had an FM on 96.7 when it was working correctly. But the transmitter was right there at the studio location, and it drifted off of 96.7 several times, aided by an evening jock that thought the AFC control on the exciter would make it louder. So next thing you know it would be transmitting closer to 95.3 or 97.5, and I had engineering friends at both of those stations that weren't at all happy about it.
One of them went to the station to confront Joe, and he said he had to be careful where he stepped due to the large amount of dog poop on the carpet all over the lobby.
