WLVO 98.5

Sun has been running a loop directing K-Love listeners to their new 88.7 position. Any speculation of where the format wheel will land for 98.5? I'm guessing a few more days of the loop, then Christmas music until a new format in January unless they are ready to go now.

Air1 - their second, rock-based radio network.

They'll put K-Love on the more powerful 88.7, then use the weaker 98.5 for Christian rock

Radio-X

It's now "Radio Nueva Vida" a Spanish Christian Network out of California. Not sure if this is the actual format or another placeholder until the start of the year. Just odd as all other Sun stations are Commercial Music formats. I suppose it makes sense as there was a hole in the market for this but will they be able to monetize this format?

The sale is currently held up while the FCC reviews a petition to deny that was filed on behalf of both Renda Broadcasting and Beasley. There is no LMA in effect with Sun and they're not running the station. Radio Neuva Vida is a placeholder put in by EMF.

Sun Broadcasting finally closed the deal with EMF last week, and then changed 98.5's format to Rhythmic Top 40 branded as "Fly 98.5" with the WFFY call letters.
