I had to comment after listening for a SHORT time today- horrid, absolutely horrid radio. Sorry CC Cincy, it ain't workin'. I'd be ashamed.

Oh, please. That's not entirely true.ToddyO said:Burbank ... did it with style, class and taste.
I can't stand Jones when he's alone. Whenever he's alone he always has "Dr. William Bradford" from San Fran as a guest. A google search shows there are no Doctors by that name in San Fran.stereolane said:Personally, I find Tracy to be more listenable without Sloanie.

You wonder how they can keep getting away with stuff like that.

And for as much as you all complain, you still listen. It's hilarious.

Thanks for the history lesson. I remembered the 500K but not the slogan. Back then, 500K probably covered North America, right?
But, again, its history. The monster 500K signal is gone..... "glory days" as it were. They still using that slogan?
stereolane said:All very true points...but the fact is that the talent level just is not there, show subject matter or not. Of course there are lots of folks on the air now who have no business being there. It's all quite pathetic actually.
I remember when Fingers and Jones started-- that show was decent, but then it went downhill.
And there's the problem - you claim you don't listen, and yet you're still complaining.2ndsout said:Honestly.... No... I don't listen. Thank you very much.![]()

You're like the person that doesn't go to Jungle Jim's, then complains that their selection of items is worse than the IGA down the street. Every time you complain, you make yourself look sillier.

It's more like if you were a former shopper at Jungle Jim's who saw the quality and selection start to go downhill so you stopped shopping there. But from what you hear, nothing is improving, so you loudly voice your displeasure in hopes that Jungle Jim's starts putting an effort into their product.
