Like WLW would establish a board. What a bunch of cry babies! I hate special-interest groups!
 
the content was aimed at or geared to "ILLEGAL ALIENS not LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. LULAC needs to step back and recognize and shut the hell up! 700 WLW rocks!
 
As a citizen of Ohio and of the United States, I am offended that LULAC defends illegals, and believe that those who aid and abet illegal acts in this country need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Satire of lawbreakers is not the problem here. The subversion of our country by invaders who would kill us is the problem, and it's about time we started getting serious about defending our country against all invaders, no matter what their ethnicity is. That an organization like LULAC will attack first amendment rights while defending illegal activities shows their true colors. And they ain't red, white or blue.

Hopefully somebody will complain to the FCC about the WLW bigots and make sure they never get to own a station ever again.
 
The folks in Kenwood love all the attention this is bringing to WLW. The more this group complains about the spots that are airing, the more it benefits the station with higher ratings.

And, that's not the issue here. The issue, as has been mentioned above, is a special interest group which is defending people who have come to this country illegally. They've broken our laws, and this special interest group is bound and determined to try and shame us into believing that we, somehow, have to tolerate the lawbreaking under a guise of "racial equality and fairness".

Satire of these newsworthy situations has always been legal. NoWayCC: If you want to get WLW off the air for this, also go after Mad TV, Saturday Night Live and any such "parody" show. Otherwise, shut up!

You don't have to like Clear Channel as a company. But to demogogue this issue is unwarrented.

And this is entertainment?!?! Making fun at the expense of ANY ethnic class is simply low class. Since WLW has the freedom to do this is it ok for a station that programs in spanish or another language to start making fun of Irish, German, Scottish and others?

As an American citizen I am offended that our own government did nothing to prevent illegals from getting here in the first place. After all it only took 50 years to get to this point and that's certainly not enough time to secure our border let alone electrify the rural countryside or get to the moon. Instead our government prefers to spend billions on weapons which end up getting stolen and used on our own troops.

I agree that all coming to this country should do it legally. I also agree that illegals are a drain on our resources. But invaders that would kill us? With what a tomato?
 
I doubt that MS-13 is defending their turf with tomatoes. And I doubt that the various and sundry jihadists who are using the southern border as an entry point are strapping explosive tomatoes on when they go to meet their 72 virgins. That is who manipulates organizations like LULAC.

I'm down for making otherwise industrious Mexican citizens guest workers and giving them a legal way to be here. When I lived in Dallas, I started learning Spanish because, of the people I met in that town, the ones I liked best were Mexicans. (The people that needed to be deported there were posers from North Dallas who drove Lexuses and lived in McMansions.)

But America has to defend itself against the partnership of Latin thugs and Middle Eastern jihadists. Today, that same Dallas is being ruled in some communities by MS-13. For those of you who don't know about this group, they're from El Salvador, they used to be the roving military gangs that killed anyone in their way by beheading them, only now they are doing it here, and they are working with Middle Eastern terrorists. The borders have to be walled, last week preferably.

I'm also down for maintaining the first amendment rights of those otherwise boorish low class knuckledraggers that write WLW's promo copy. This ain't the Soviet Union. This ain't Cuba. This ain't Venezuela. And if having boorish knuckleheads make fun of you is the price you pay for being in America, well, it's time to grow some cojones and "vaquero up" instead of crying about your feelings being hurt. Take your political correctness and stuff it in Mao's grave, puhleeze.

BTW, you think Spanish stations AREN'T making fun of us? Check out 97.9 La Raza in L.A. sometime. [Sidebar: naming a station "La Raza" ("The Race") is roughly equivalent to asking for the callsign "KKK" if you are white. Let's hear how LULAC explains that.]

1st Amendment does not apply

Those of you in broadcasting should know that our freedom of speech is curtailed by the market place and is not applicable to the much misunderstood and misquoted first amendment. Anytime the moderator of this board wants to censor us they can and the same with our employers.

Consumers and activist groups can do the same if the owners of a broadcast property thinks a boycott will hurt the bottom line. Imus ring a bell? That had nothing to do with the Feds or the first amendment. Sure the FCC can ban some dirty words, but for the most part content political or otherwise is not touched.


In case you need a refresher course in Civics:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

What conversation on this board or any message board has been prohibited by the government? Owner and moderators maybe and even a lawyer or two possibly, but not the government.

Now carry on and speak freely.. ;D

A former listener of mine in Evansville, IN at WSTO and one who became a friend was raped and her friend/date at the time murdered by an illegal alien serial killer known then as the railway killer in Lexington during her freshman year in college. He never should have been in the country.

The Reds employee who was killed by an illegal alien last year at a bar I believe in Mason.

The college students in the northeast who were killed by an illegal alien execution style.

Auto accidents by those who are here illegally, some fatal...all never should have happened as their assailant never should have been here in the first place. So yes, they are coming here, and yes they are killing us.

And yes to get back on point, the WLW promos are funny.

To the special intrest groups who complain about being offended no matter the subject, I say this...

You just hate ideas that are different than your point of veiw, so you use all your money and power to try to force or intimidate others to think like you. And that's called fascism!

I have heard them and I thought they were funny as hell. These special interest groups simply come after you for more the minute you capitulate to them. WLW should have never taken down The Big Juan billboards. As soon as they caved to the morons at League of United Latin American Citizens, that opened the door for LULAC to nit-pick over anything else WLW did.
 
Since I own two powerful Radios that can pick up WLW in Columbus Ohio, I do like to listen to the racist incoherent rants of one Bill "WILLIE" Cunningham. He's funny in a sad way. Like the insane rants of one Micheal "Wenier" Savage.
