WLW callers who aren't real.

Nick..highly unlikely that he is real.

Rob, from Norwood.

Richard, from Indian Hill.

There's gotta be a couple more.

Carphone Paul? Glenn from Mason (comes off as real to me). Nan I'm pretty sure is real. How about Miss C?

I think all of those are real callers. They've been around for years.

Another real one is Martin from Eton. He's so real McConnell is afraid to let him talk. He's got a few crazy ideas he occasionally comes up with, but he really doesn't seem to be the idiot McConnell makes him out to be...that's probably why he gets cut short by Mike so often.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it sure seems like the phony ones get a LOT of time.

Martin brings any and every topic to drug legalization. You can be talking 9/11 and he'll tie it in with drug issues. Who else do you think isn't real? I think Ken (who has ben banned) is all too real.

Ken: definitely real.

I'n not listening now, but there's probably some phony caller or website being used to create a "topic" right now by those afternoon fill-in guys....till they find a real host.

I know United Stations use to offer a service providing funny callers into shows, but I think that was mostly used by FM morning shows

You mean Gilbert Gnarley wasn't real?

You are missing the biggest unreal caller-- Randy Furman! Or at least I hope he's unreal...

I've always envisioned a SNL skit entitled "Rush Limbaugh Call Center". Imagine rows of callers (like a telethon) with a bunch of wack-jobs who call in to enable their host...

Now I know what was missing from Christmas. Gilbert's calls to toy stores looking for dangerous toys. Maybe I need to take back my Sarah Palin's "I shoot Moose" Barbie.

Who cares if they are characters or if what they portray is what their life actually is? They are entertaining or create entertaining reactions.
