Hello there Cincinnatti!

I recently was surfing around and I was surprised to be able to pick up 700 WLW in Dallas!! That is great!
To tell you the truth, I now love to listen to Reds games (our Rangers games arent any good anyway) on your station.

I recently started here at radio-info, that is why I am just now telling you. But I have been listening to The Big One for over a year now. I must thank you for the great covarage WLW provided during the final hours of Pope John Paul II back in early April. Locally, nobody cared, but I loved your covarage. If any of you just happened to be listening the night before he died (Fri, Apr. 1), I called in to the show.

Thank you so much for your great programming!

Regards from Texas,
CTL

Before the FCC busted up the clear channels, WLW was known as the "Nation's Station".

Hey Chris the Listener, your check is in the mail! Darryl "Kickin' the Dog" Parks. Oh gee, another bad prank post by me )
Darryl is the Ops Manager at The Big One and I'm sure he appreciates da' love!

Has the 700 station in Dallas fired up yet? And if so, is it within WLW's protected contour so would it be a daytimer? If not, they'd have to have one heck of a null away from Cincinnati [as we do here in Columbus on 820, as our local NPR station blocks out 'BAP :(]

Your certenly up to date on your Dallas stations! haha.

KHSE 700 is off the air. It goes on public auction on Sept. 30, along with KFCD 990. So, by next year, I probably wont be able to pick up WLW. :(
