Had a good laugh coming into the area late last night. Midnight, straight up, and dead air on The Big One. I decided what the hell, I'll stay tuned. After a couple of minutes of silence I hear Bubba Bo, on an open mic, delivering an angry diatribe over using an "Auxiliary" studio, and how everything's a mess with the Trucker show whenever this occurs after a Reds game, and how they could probably forget about anything being different the rest of the week, because the Reds are playing on the west coast... blah blah blah, I-Heart Radio is screwed up, nobody cares, etc, etc, etc, and how he demands to switch studios at once! This filibustering went on for at least a solid minute, when Bubba suddenly, in mid-sentence, mind you, realized that he was indeed, on the air.
I almost had to pull off the road.
But sadly, Bubba's rant was correct. News at the bottom of the hour was followed by about 4 or 5 minutes of dead air again. Hilarious!
