WLW IBOC off this morning Mar 19.

What a nice surprise on the drive to the office this morning here in Cincinnati, 700/WLW without side channel splatter.

While still dark outside, 710/WOR was fading in and out. Nothing else on 710.

Nothing above threshold on 690 except a weak Cuba fading in and out and then WZAP in VA as daylight approached.

Hope it lasts at least through this evening.

It's gone! My headache's GONE!

Enjoy the respite, but wonder what's up and pray that they finally feel foolish hissing up their own signal.
If they sense a tune-out because of the hiss, it's hiss-tory.

Gave them too much credit. Checked around 10:30 a.m. here just east of Columbus and the hiss is very much present. I just wish I'd been up earlier to enjoy crap-free WLW.
