WLW Off and On

I hope they threw that IBOC equipment in the dumpster. Bring back full bandwidth AM Stereo, if they want to improve fidelity without moving to FM.

Speaking of which, did WLW ever broadcast in AM stereo?
 
I don't think they ever did AM Stereo. They did have excellent audio back in the 70's and throught the 80's when they had reverb in their audio chain.

Remember when they switched the programming under Randy Michaels but hadn't got around to cleaning up the audio yet? I never heard Night Moves by Bob Seger sound worse on an AM radio. Night and day difference after RM got his fingers on the processing.
