WLW scheduled off tonight (Sun morning)

Heard on the American Trucker Radio Network (OK, Coast to Coast gives me weird dreams if I fall asleep to it!) that 700 WLW will be off the air from 1-5am Eastern Sunday morning, Feb 5 to install a new digital transmitter. Not sure what else is out there to hear, but good luck!

Of course, as of Sunday at 5 if you live in the strongest part of WLW's signal, kiss 680-720 goodbye, at least in the daytime!

So WLW is going HD? I'm curious to see how this will impact WGN's daytime signal in Indiana or even parts of northern Ohio.

Ha, I totally agree about Coast to Coast. I can listen to it, and laugh at it, but I pay for it. :)
That Truckers are better (anchored at WBAP in Dallas).

WLW is great. I hope this will make their signal even better.

My guess is not that much, especially in the area where WGN has a listnership. May be a little rough south and east of Indianapolis, but from the stations I've heard on IBOC so far, it's the two immediate adjacents that get creamed.
