I would say that all Cumulus stations will dropped since they announced they would no longer report Adds and playlists to the charts.

And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're going through

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Turn and face the strange ch-ch-changes
Oh, look out, you rock and rollers
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

David Bowie

Yes... it is a good position to be the one coming in from the rear..(as opposed to the one taking it)... it's Broke Back Mountain- Montgomery style.

Hope WBAM will crush WLWI and become Montgomery's new Country King.

P.S. Go Bama Country Go.

well, with WLWI no longer reporting their adds to the trades, what about the other Cumulus Stations?

if WBAM does take down WLWI as country king, could that open a door for Bluewater or clear channel to go after Y102? or how about WTGZ taking down WXFX? what about Mix 103?

and because i'm still learning new thinsg about the radio biz at every chance, what if any impact is caused by reporting or not reporting, how does that transition over into arbitron ratings?
______________

Rather or not a station reports the music they are playing to R&R does not factor in to their ratings. This means nothing to WLWI but less of a headache each week in compiling the numbers. And in all truth, reporting the songs they played could have made it easier for other stations who are not reporting to decide what songs to play.

Strictly opinion here but for Bama Country 98.9 to over take WLWI they are going to have to get Don Day or Bubba to come over to their station.
______________
