WLWI's Don Day to retire (again)

WSFA just ran a story on Don Day at Montgomery's WLWI concerning him announcing his retirement effective June 30th. This will be interesting to see how it effects the WLWI - Bama Country battle, plus who will WLWI replace Don with. It will be an interesting 6 weeks as this comes together.
 
Was WLWI the station that long-time Atlanta , now out work jock Rubharb Jones worked for become being hired for the old Y106 Zoo Crew in the mid-80s. I wonder if Rubharb would step down and take this job at Montgomery's legendary country music station WLWI.
