We got a format flip on our hands in Milwaukee. Active Rocker WLZR "Lazer 103" (102.9) started stunting today at 10 with everything including rock, CHR, polka and country mentioning that "The Hog is coming" and to tune in at 10AM tomorrow. Looks like everybody but the morning duo Bob & Brian were let go. New format is going to be 80s based classic rock (apparently) to go head to head with WQBW "97.3 The Brew" The new format apparently will be similar to WQBW but harder. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. Here's some of the tapes I made of the stunting today. I'll see about getting the launch tomorrow.

I guess they are not trying to appeal to the Milwaukee orthodox Jewish community. For other Jews, it may be a matter of personal preference.

very funny.........surprised this hasn't been tried in Toronto...could imagine driving up Bathurst St. (little jerusalem) blaring it out on a car radio....

I really hope Milwaukee does not loose lazer 103...good station like many rockers in the country, they are disappearing fast.....
