Soft AC WLZT/93.3 "Lite FM" says goodbye to programmer Steve Cherry.

Maybe, just maybe, after the X-mas crap CC will pull the plug on this high powered joke! Please Santa!

Sounds like other cuts are underway at CC Columbus.
 
I noticed on the 93-3 website that Mr. Cherry is no longer listed. Yesterday I heard a weekender on the afternoon show.Does anyone know what is going on? ???
 
Steve Cherry was let go when OMW originally reported it. OMW then received word from unreliable sources that he was not released when in fact he was. Mike McCoy has now added 93.3 to his duties.
 
Ouch. CC really knows how to play the "Scrooge" card. Christmas season, wife having baby, lots of talent...it makes no difference to them. Good luck to Mr. Cherry.
 
How can you call "The Man" a scrooge!?! I was told by a CC Columbus staffer that when everyone was getting fired - Cherry in the hospital with his new baby when he was told - that they were all waiting for an announcemnet from the MM. Thon supposedly sent out a memo within an hour telling everyone to give props to the two building janitors. One was having a birthday, the other an anniversary with the company.

Has this guy lost it or what?
