Joe O'Brien was the first DJ I heard when i got my own radio for my fifth birthday a year later.
I wonder if I'd be as patient in putting up with all those commercials today. Probably not.
The newscasts are also interesting, showing an almost equally troubled world, worse if you consider the much greater threat from a "government" such as the Soviets vs. a bunch of grubby arabs.
