DOES ANYBODY REMEMBER WMCK AS '' MIGHTY 1360' . I tried the 'voy forums' and nobody responded. Is that station just a figment of my imagination. Are Lou Janis and Bill Lynch just figments. Help

Thanks, but I couldn't find anything. WMCK was the fourth AM station to go 24 hours and did it before WCAE and WJAS. They had a full slate of DJ's and I think they sounded very competitive. I know the signal issues, but it was this period that they went to 5,000 watts daytimes. Does ANYBODY remember the airstaff ? Any old music surveys around?

Thanks

Bill lynch was PD and had the 8 to Mid. slot. Lou Janis was on from 4-8 and Herb Allen from 10-1. I cannot remember the other 2. Overnights was automated.

Terry Lee was on Sunday night with "Music for Lovers" and did remotes from "The White Elephant". Does this jog any memories?

Jason Toyger comes through

1) Pat Haley 6-10
2) Jim White 10-1
3) Jay Morton 1-4
4) Lou Janis 4-8
5) Bill Lynch 8-12
6) Music Machine-12-6

Plus news at :15 & :45

The site doesn't say, except Jay Morton was PD in 1967 when they went back to an aggressive TOP 40 format. They made KQV turn it up even more, but the owners wouldn't put money into it. It was sold to Cleveland interests and became WIXZ in 1969. I don't remember that well cause I moved to North Carolina in 1968.
