WMCN

What does WMCN TV carry? what is it's history? I know it is not seen much. More info please.

WMCN-DT 44 used to be WWAC-TV 53 in Atlantic City. It's an all-brokered station.

A couple years ago, TV 53 turned off it's analog transmitter (at the WAYV tower in Atlantic City) and is digital-only now from the Waterford Works complex.

IIRC, Comcast either bought or has a deal with DT44. This is essentially an OTA version of the old Comcast "Market Connect Network" (hence, the WMCN calls), which features infomercials, both nationally and locally produced.

Actually, WMCN is owned be Lenfest Communications, which sold Suburban Cable to Comcast.
The weathercasts come from an out-of-town company.
