So now that Kovas cannot move WMCW, what are they going to do? Continue running
paid programming, or shut it down and hope that the FCC will let them upgrade WONX?

They'd still have to get permission to build the towers for WONX, they still have to move WKKD & WGCO so I'm guessing it'll stay the same for now.

I don't believe that there is fcc permission for the wonx upgrade yet.
If they can't shut down WMCW and the WONX upgrade requires WMCW to shut down what do you get? Health Radio! Or perhaps a congressman or senator will pick up the phone?

I wish they would have left WMCW alone. I liked the AC/Full service format they had before it went standards. They even ran Casey Kasem on the weekends.<P ID="signature">______________

I have yet to see how the predicted pattern would cover the market, but the way it looks, it looks like it wouldn't even cover the entire market. I believe it would still only cover the northern suburbs, but would add a few near western suburbs by having it transmit in or near Carol Stream.
