It seems like the harvard stations move to weston wisconsin was dismissed 3/2/06. Not sure for what reason. Can anyone figure it out from the FCC site?

Funny. I was just playing a tape of WMCW I made last night while wondering what would happen with the modification.

Guess I just found out.

They still running that heath network? Last time I checked they were. Guess I'll have to flip them on tomorrow.

Too bad the live and local programming they used to run is gone.
______________

"WMCW moving to Weston-Wausau, WI is a done deal. The
application for construction permit is already in the
process, not subject to settlement."

You can never be too sure with the FCC. Trying to remove the only local service from a community is not an easy prospect.

Of course, the threat to take the station dark was probably not the best tactic...
______________

It was more of a question as to where those stones were located......

WOW, "da Man" laid the smack down with that one... I had to laugh myself. Thing is even if they turn the license in for WMCW, does not mean the FCC has to approve their other move and after saying "give us a move or we'll turn it off" more than likely the FCC is not going to quickly decide to allow them to move the other station!
