I noticed driving around this afternoon that WMDB 880 was off the air. Has Davidson finally taken over this station? I know there were rumors the station would have some sort of Spanish format. Any word yet what that might be. It's not like we need another spanish language or religious station on AM. But then again, what do you do with a 2500 watt daytimer.

I'm curious too. They still haven't returned on air. They are (or were) interesting to listen too. One afternoon they'd be playing some really good classic soul and the next day it would be rap. I think the jocks pick their own music. They have a fairly good signal considering the low wattage.

Curiosity got the best of me today, and I called the station about 8:30 this morning. No answer or answering machine. It was an interesting station to listen to

Yes it was. Boy am I glad I made an aircheck of them a few weeks ago. I didn't expect them to disappear like that.
