WMDH

Allow me to quote myself from 2/17/2011:
"Better enjoy WMDH while we can. Per Radio-Info "Cumulus is in "exclusive negotiations" to buy Citadel, says CNBC". If that happens, you can bet WMDH will get the memo and some cookie cutter syndicated crapola will take the place of the live & local evening request show."

I tuned past WMDH a few weeks ago in the evening and they were carrying the same satellite feed that WCBK 102.3 was carrying. If the guy who did the live, local evening request show reads this thread, thanks! I think you were doing a great job.

Cumulus in Knoxville is shedding bodies right and left; including the ops director who had won every award there is in country music radio, and the night jock (who will be replaced by syndication).

Yep. So long live and local! Hello CMT Radio With Cody Alan!

I believe it was the end of February their Program Director and Production Director both resigned. From what I heard, their departure was somewhat surprising to management. Neither have been replaced to date. A few months previous their GSM position was eliminated. The aforementioned night personality whose show was cancelled in early fall '11 still works for the company though, I hear him doing remotes occasionally.
