WMDN/WGBC-TV Split?

Unless there was major improvement since the last time I was home, their news cast was AWFUL. I never understood why so many people liked it but it was horrid.

Just because you're in a small market doesn't mean you have to look or sound like it (thanks for that advice, Dave!).

I never understood why they ran the same newscast at the same time on two different channels. What's the point?

I didn't know both stations were owned by the same company. I remember when what is now WGBC (used to be WLBM) was co-owned with WLBT in Jackson. They used to include WLBM in the ID. Did Frank Melton (now Jackson mayor) ever have anything to do with 'LBM's ownership? <P ID="signature">______________

They're not. It's an LMA.

Yes. Back then WLBM-TV was 100% owned by WLBT.
