WMEL Cocoa

AM 1300 WMEL in Cocoa was hit by a tornado yesterday afternoon. The storm, part of that huge weather event that went though Orlando, then
on into Brevard. WMEL is off the air right now, but expects to be back on tommorow afternoon. A transformer was blown and a replacement is on the way. The west wing of the WMEL broadcast center has the roof torn off, and extensive damage done to interior of the building. WMEL is
broadcasting with now on line, at 1300wmel.com

Glad that you were able to return to the air so quickly. It is never pleasant to read about stations having troubles like this.
