Listed by a user below is X 106's new website. I like the idea, but must say, I think they're playing too many oldies still. I can kind of see what they are doing now. I think they are trying to add more 70's and 80's, but still play many of the 60's. I think they'd do better off as a 70's and 80's station playing many of the hits from them. They should have a good mixture of music. Classic Rock (Boston, J. Geils, Tom Petty, etc), and a good mixture of 70s/80s top 40 as well.
I think they are trying more of a WROR approach, or even a WQSO style format. The only thing I can suggest to them is that X106 goes for the 70s/80s, as WQSO plays 60s/70s and see who wins the book then. It is time for a 70s/80s mix of all music genres on the seacoast. WMEX should skip the 60s, and play the 70s/80s. I'll be listening all the time then!
Cheers,
Lenny
