wmfp 62 frozen in time!!

well rtv strikes again ch 62 has been on and off all day! result of rtv or ch playing with thier tansmitter, and is this going to happen when me tv takes over??

Were you watching over the air or on cable? If it was cable it could have been the receiver used by the company (be it Comcast, Fios, Charter or anyone else) broke down. It's happened before but given the track record it's probably RTV or the station that had the problem.

There is construction work going on, on "FM128" where the WMFP 62 transmitter is mounted. Chances are they've gone off the air or severley reduced power for the tower worker's safety, while the work commences.

Necrat is correct. They are doing work on the tower. It will probably continue for the next few weeks until they are done.

Isn't this the tower from which a worker fell to his death a few weeks ago? If so, the owners of the tower will double-down on observing all the rules as well they should.
